Starting at Peacehaven Meridian Monument, along the cliff top to Castle Hill Nature Reserve then via the Marina to Newhaven Railway Station followed by a cup of tea. This section is quite hilly and uneven.

Starting at the Martello Tower on Seaford Seafront, up over Seaford Head and then along the Cuckmere River to the Seven Sisters Country Park. The climb up to the top of Seaford Head is quite steep but the views are stunning, followed by a cup of tea.

Seahaven Coastal Trail Walks
Monday 20th June 10.30-11.00am Telscombe Cliffs
Meet at Smuggler’s Rest, Telscombe Cliffs and walk to The Peacehaven, Peacehaven. Enjoy a stroll along the cliffs, a relatively flat walk ideal for beginners - enjoy the coastal views and wildlife.
Wednesday 22nd June 10-11.30am Peacehaven
Meet at Rowe Avenue Surgery, Peacehaven for a healthy walk on the Coastal Trail with some steep slopes to get on and off the Undercliff path.
Monday 27th June 1-2.30pm Newhaven
Meet at Quayside Surgery, Newhaven and walk to West Beach. Look at some of the specialist coastal flora and fauna.
Tuesday 28th June 10-12.00pm Peacehaven
Meet at the bus stop adjacent Seaview Road (ID esuamgwa) on the Coastal Road for a walk along the cliffs looking for butterflies and flora and fauna.

East Sussex County Council have advised that the closure of a footpath in Newhaven will affect access to the stretch of the Seahaven Coastal Trail at Tidemills until 2nd April 2016. Network Rail is undertaking the replacement of the footbridge east of Newhaven Harbour Station.
An alternative route is available. From the Seaford direction this route is via the Tidemills crossing (TQ 4600 0029 to 4632 0052), then follows the A259 for 400 metres (TQ 4632 0052 to 4607 0084) before heading west along the edge of the Ouse Estuary Reservoir, re-joining the route at Norton Road (TQ 4607 0084 to 4525 1011).
